When there’s too much tat on the supermarket shelves, there’s only one thing to do: create something new, and different. Inspired by the campaign to reduce plastic waste, coupled with the desire and drive of the young Vespa team to unleash their creativity on a personal mission, the Munch Cats brand was born.
The magazine format is jam-packed with paper-crafts and activities, proving that it doesn’t have to be plastic to be fun. However, the real magic happens as the reader delves into the MunchLand world. With character design adopting the cute kawii styling, and storylines inspired by the editor’s favourite classics (Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings), the Munch Cats series is multi-layered, including the all-important themes of friendship, kindness, forgiveness and acceptance.
